EPD-Environmental Product Declaration

Environmental Product Declaration is an independently evaluated and approved document that provides transparent and comparable information about the environmental impact that products cause throughout their life cycle. EPD system, which is a universal program in environmental product declaration, Environmental Labels and Declarations (ISO 14025), is based on the requirements of the standards; Type III Environment Declarations- Principles and procedures and EN 15804 Sustainability of Structures- Environmental Declarations for Products- Main Rules for Product Category of Building Products.
EPD includes processes; raw material procurement and transportation, processing, packaging, transportation, construction, use, maintenance and repair, end-of-life recycling and disposal processes in the life cycle evaluation of building products which are in the life cycle evaluation of building products. In these processes, building materials are evaluated environmentally by means of energy, water and raw material inputs, air, water and soil emissions, volatile organic compounds and particles, water-based wastes, solid wastes and by-products outputs and depending on these, impact categories are formed.
The EPD, as a comprehensive, third-party approved, independent and transparent verification tool, provides a standard approach for manufacturers to evaluate their environmental impact in line with the lifecycle of their building materials and components, enables consumers to compare products with an efficient structure and direct products.

Our company conducts LEED, BREEAM, DGNB certificates and EPD declarations required for the manufacturer companies with its solution partners.

LCA – Life Cycle Assessment

Our company provides consultancy to fulfill the LCA requirements in projects that want certification.
The life of the building materials used in the construction sector is a cyclical process and this process starts from the procurement of raw materials of a building material, includes processing, packaging, transportation, construction, use, maintenance-repair when necessary, disposal, recycling and recycling. Building materials cause different environmental effects at each phase of their life cycle. We can help with the following systems and credits:

  • DGNB Building LCA credits
  • BREEAM Material credits
  • LEED v4 Material credits
  • LEED v4 Building LCA loans

C2C- Cradle to Cradle Certification

Products and systems in the C2C evaluation system are evaluated by; energy, material assessment, chemical comparisons, clean production qualification and qualification, materials used for sustainability management and optimization, reuse properties of materials, energy, water, social responsibility criteria.
About 700 C2C products have been produced to this day. There are applications in all areas from compostable, which means biodegradable T-shirts to office chairs, air cleaning flooring, sports shoes and architectural structures. Since 1995, in collaboration with EPEA and MBDC, industrial processes, products and raw materials have been evaluated according to Cradle to Cradle criteria, from SME to largest businesses. A C2C Certification Program was developed by MBDC on increasing requests. EPEA also carries out this ecological certificate through MBDC license. With the C2C logo, businesses can demonstrate their ecological and intelligent design. The consumer can easily see that the product carrying the C2C logo carries the relevant ecological quality criteria. The C2C certificate is available in four separate steps: Basic, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Our company is currently working with C2C partners for all kinds of products.
