Project Details
Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Torium is the first LEED project in an AVM. The project, which was evaluated according to LEED Commercial Interiors for Retail criteria, was completed in 2011. LEED Silver certification was given to the restaurant where many green strategies were applied. The ventilation controls for indoor quality in the project have been optimized according to LEED standards.
By using LED and sensor lighting, energy savings were maximized and A plus(A+) energy-saving electronic devices were used for more efficient use of energy in the kitchen. Water efficient faucets and urinals were used and 40% water saving was achieved.
